| Norman Bozzard Day 2007 found the sun shining on the Leigh Valley Light Railway as "Hank's" friends and family brought their motive power and rolling stock to celebrate his life. As can be seen from the following photographic record of the day, the Morgan Family had also made some interesting upgrades to the LVLR for the occasion, as well as hosting a splendid barbeque at the end of the running session. Most importantly though, generous donations were made towards the restoration of Norman's favourite Baldwin locomotive on the Welsh Highland Railway. | ||

| 4472 of the FNER may lack the fore and aft carrying wheels of the LNER's "Flying Scotsman" but it was painted apple green and had a chime whistle - hidden in its tender! Reversing past it at Leigh Valley Station though was Jason Morgan's Garratt "Millennium" | ||

| Fittingly, Malcolm Morgan's tribute to the irreplaceable Norman Bozzard was a very special locomotive, combining the layout of a Garratt with a centralised reciprocating motion and shaft torque transmission more akin to a Shay or Heisler. In this design - suggested but never built in real life - the cylinders and valve gear are horizontally mounted below footplate level with central cardans leading to each 0-4-0 bogie. | ||
